Below is the calendar of visits. This will be updated throughout the fall:

Fly-Ins Overview:

Picture
This is a travel program, in which the majority of costs are typically covered by the institution, and it brings prospective students to campus, and allows them to engage in the community of a school for an overnight program; it will also requires an application similar to the college application process.
  • Fly-In programs are when colleges—often top-tier(selective) universities—cover the cost of flying (or driving) a student to their campus, plus a one- to three-night stay.
  • They’re generally for students who might not otherwise be able to visit, usually due to cost. (They’re especially beneficial for low-income students.)
  • Fly-in programs generally take place during the fall of your senior year.
  • Due to COVID-19 they may be virtual!
  • If any of your colleges in your college list offer a fly-in program, plan on attending a few that interest you.
  • In some cases, students who do fly ins are more likely to be accepted than the general population of applicants.
  • During a fly-in program, there will be a variety of speakers, and opportunities to meet with current students at the college.
  • The College and Career Office will let you know about these opportunities as we receive them. Check you email regularly for updates!
