The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test, notably known as the PSAT is an exam very similar to the SAT. The PSAT/NMSQT(National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test), is offered in the fall, and this exam is a good indicator of how you'll perform on the SAT, while determining your eligibility for a National Merit Scholarship. It is also usually the first time when students take a standardized exam for colleges, but please understand that your scores will not be sent to colleges, and do not impact your high school grades whatsoever.
This year, 2020, the exam will be taken on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 starting at 8 A.M
